Suman has spent the last 17 years helping Fortune 500 construction equipment & consulting brands achieve over US$550 Million in revenues in the North American and Asian marketplaces.
A native of India, Suman immigrated to Canada 5 years back and has helped establish the customer strategy practice for KPMG Canada before taking up the responsibility to set up SANY in Canada.
In the last three years as the Senior Vice President & Country Manager, Suman has established the greenfield expansion of Chinese multinational SANY in Canada from a startup to $50 Million in revenues with over 3.5% market share, managing a team of 20 direct employees and eight dealers.
Suman has previous M&A expertise, having led the integration of Ingersoll-Rand with Volvo Construction Equipment and Atlas Copco with Dynapac in earlier management roles.
In his previous roles as Head of Marketing, Product and Dealer Development for two major construction equipment brands, Suman successfully launched over 30 new products, onboarded and managed 26 new dealers and established those brands to grow into top 5 market share players.
Suman has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has his Master's in Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing & Strategy and speaks 5 languages.
